Christmas In Colorado 2010

This year for Christmas we spent it in Colorado! Oscars parents, two sisters and brother in law and neice went. We left Thursday the 23rd at like 2am and started our 16+hour journey.  Talan was a little sick so he did ok up until the last 4 hours he started to get very cranky. Oh did I forget to mention, we drove. Yup sure did. Well we made it and there wasn't much snow so it wasn't quit the WHITE CHRISTMAS WE HAD HOPED FOR but it was still a nice one.  We got a cabin in Woodland Park and it was nice and quiet.  The first couple of days Oscar had reached a temp of 102.8 and was not feeling well. Besides the sicklins that we had aboard we went to the Cheyanne Zoo, Pikes Peak, Mantiou Springs Cliff Dwellings, and Garden of the Gods. All beautiful placs and we enjoyed it.  The most amazing part was the drive up Pikes Peak...absolutely breathtaking.  Christmas was a sucess and then we headed home on the 30th. The drive home was much better for Little Talan and Boy were we ready to get home too.  We got home about 8pm and Mommy unpacked, cleaned, started Laundry, showered and was in bed by 11. Hello-

Just wanted to say hello to all 13 followers I have! Not much has been going on. Work is crazy, well the patients are anyway! We have been busy busy and since we will be off the last 2 weeks in December...just imagine the patients calling, stopping by and bugging us to get in before the Christmas break. Ughh here lately I just want to pull my hair out most days, so I haven't been on the computer much. Boy am I ready for the New Year and for a slow down.

Since we have been doing much of nothing, Sunday- Oscar wanted to go to Grapeland Drive Thru Safari in Grapeland, Tx. We went and it turned out that is looked cheesy but was so much fun. We got to drive through and feed the animals. There were zebras, goats, rams, water buffalo, pigs, camels, peacocks, cows, ponys and much more...It was cool.
