A day at the Beach

Saturday we decided to take a mini day trip and head to Galveston and take Talan to the beach adn visit Moody Gardens.  We started the day off at Moody Gardens exploring thr Dinos Alive Exhibit and well Talan was scared of the dinosaurs.  They were so large and made noises and moved and he just was not too sure.  After that we headed to the beach.  He loved it.  He kept wanting to go deep in the water and was not one bit afraid.  Awesome. There were some baby jelly fish floating around so we had to be super careful. After a little bit at the beach we loaded up and went to dinner at the Rainforest Cafe, then headed home. I think we were all a bit tired and couldn't wait to get showered and jump into bed. Today has been spent all day in our pajamas and just lounging around! Nothing beats Sweet Sunday Naps! Fourth of July Weekend 2011

Happy Fourth of July Everyone. Our weekend was a very low key kind of weekend.  We didn't do much.  Friday night we stayed home,  Saturday Talan and I went to visit my friend, Jennifer to see her babys nursery. She is due in September and barely has a belly. Psshh lucky her!  Saturday afternoon, Talan and I went to YaYa's house and helped her clean.  Then came home to Daddy-O. Sunday we got up and went to my parents house and grilled hamburgers.  While we were there, it started to rain a bit- whoa yes it rained a good amount, Well, Talan got to play in the Rain for the very first time..He wasn't so sure at first but then he loved it.

Then today we went to lunch just the 3 of us and ran a few errands and now we are all lounged out at the house watching Freedom Over Texas here in Houston.  Happy Fourth all!
