Scattered Brain

The title of this post is exactly how I have been feeling lately! Oscar has been working one week nights the next week days and well this week starts nights again. Wish me luck. Also, last week Oscar had a doctors appointment where he found out that on top of the Cushings Syndrome that he has been diagnosed with for almost two years now, he has Avascular Necrosis and will eventually need a THR- total hip replacement! No I'm not kidding. He just can't catch a break. He just turned 29- not 89! Wheeewee. It will be in the future but depending on how his body deals with this just depends on if it will be far future or close. I just hope it is far, far, far future. We still have things to do and places to see together and he is way too young. Either way we will make it through all this and Ill have to continue to find strength and support and be the back bone for my family! WE WILL MAKE IT! But since finding that out, my brain is going ninety to nothing in all directions thinking of every outcome and possibility there is. I just need to slow down and focus but its hard! He has already been through back surgery, adrenalectomy and just having Cushings. I wish I could take all this away so he isnt affected by any outcome or problems that may come along. Talan needs his daddy and needs him for atleast another good 15 years to really teach him how to be a young and successful man. Together with strength and love will be the only way! Just pray for his healing and keep all of us strong! Thank you!

Another one of those days-

Today is a crappy day...no, not literally either. It just has sucked! From morning tantrums from the tiny 2 year old to every minute about this day! I am so over it and ready to be home! Daddy has been working nights this week and last so needless to say I have been a Full-time, single mommy lately and I think it is starting to kick my rear end! Anyhow, hope it gets better!!
