Yesterday was Oscars surgery and it went great, they got everything out except two small lymph nodes behind his heart they weren't able to get to. The doctor did assure us he got the main mass and everything in the front side. Doc says there is a possibility that there is some damage to his right vocal cord.
We won't know for sure until tomorrow or maybe Saturday. He can speak now but doctor says that usually the vocal cords are still inflammed from the breathing tube that was placed during surgery. As for the two spots left....its a wait and see situation!
They have had Oscar up and walking so he is doing really well!! Pain levels varies throughout the day but he is in good spirits!
Me on the other hand, I am exhausted!! But whatever I have to do to be by my husbands side I will do!! We are missing our little man but have told him daddy is sick and is at the doctor! I can't wait to get home and see him and for him to see his daddy!!

You have been so strong through this journey and I am so proud of you. I can't say I know the feeling you feel but I can say you have handled the situation wonderfully and haven't given up on yourself! You are amazing and God will continue to be with us and will keep you fighting no matter what! I love you will my whole heart always and forever!!
