Talans First Halloween 2009

This Halloween was My Little Talanators FIRST Halloween, he was my little Monkey Boy! We went to my moms and went Trick or Treating with my neice, nephew and Little Talan. We got half way around the block and Talan had fell asleep. No crying- he was perfect! His FIRST Halloween was GREAT! Too Bad Daddy couldn't walk with us but he stayed with Nana and gave out candy! After that we came home and Daddy and Talan were pooped so we just stayed in.

Hey guys- Just wanted to update you all on Oscar. After 2 1/2 weeks in the hopsital, he is now home. Doctor still has been unablee to locate tumor but with time and more invasive testing we will get there. Osc was sent home on 12 meds. So he is feeling back to normal with his potassium, blood sugar and blood pressure all under control. His feet seem to be swelling but nothing too bad. Next appt is Nov. 9th for more bloodwork and talk about a PLAN. In the meantime, I get to play nurse..hehe =}


Now, Update on my Other LOVE- Talan was 4 months old on the 22nd. I took him for his checkup and he is 16 lbs and 27 1/2 inches long. 75 percentile on his weight and 95 percentile on his height. Yes, he will be tall like his daddy! Also, he is working on his bottom teeth. Dr said they could come anytime,......

What a week so far.....

Well, a week ago today- I brought Oscar to the ER at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands and was admitted. Since the stay here- his potassium keeps dropping and is unable to stay up by himself so he is having to have an IV of potassium drip alot. They will not release him because of the levels of potassium. SO, he does have Cushings Disease and a tumor on adrenal gland. We are waiting to get him transfered to MD Andersen for further testing and to fix the problem. I will keep you updated and Please contunie to pray for him and OUR FAMILY!
