Mini Vacay-

This last weekend, we took a mini vacay to get away. Friday afternoon we were Corpus Christi Bound. We loaded up and headed out. We got there Friday evening and called it a night after a great dinner at La Playa Mexican Restraunt. Saturday we threw on our beach wear and headed to the beach where we relaxed and played in the water until Little Talanator got stung by a jelly fish...Daddy jumped in the car and headed to the pharmacy for Vinegar and Mommy stayed with Talan. After long crys and screams, vinegar, pee pee, and Tylenol- My lil man was back to smiles. We soon headed back to the hotel. Sunday we packed up and headed home. It wasn't quit long enough but we enjoyed it.

On another note, FINALLY OSCAR is getting the back surgery done this week I believe- So happy for this and just so ready for him to get back on his feet!!!!

Oh me- Oh My-

Its Friday and I am exhausted amongst other things. We have been going back and forth with Insurance trying to approve a surgery procedure Called Vertebroplasy for Oscars back. He has three fractures in his spine and has been in alot of pain the last few weeks. He is unable to sleep in the bed and do much of anything. He sleeps sitting up on the couch and cannot be very active. So I am mommy to not only Talan (who is running everywhere), but Oscar as well. It is a tough ride but hopefully the Insurance company approves this..I mean afterall we do pay for it. On top of that, Oscar has an appointment with a surgeon who will be removing his adrenal glands on Aug 17th and then surgery will (fingers crossed) be scheduled soon after that and pray that Oscar will be able to get back on his feet and become active again.

Talan on the other hand is running everywhere, playing, dancing and I must not forget, eating everything. He is keeping Mommy very busy....but with his MILLION KISSES a day makes it so much better. :) :)

Myself- Well I am still just a working and am very blessed to have a wonderful job and bosses that understand whats going on in DeLaCruz Land. I keep telling myself that someone else out there has it way worst than I do but I just feel like we are way too young for this....can I trade in for a newer model? Just teasing- We will get through and be A-ok!! Lets just say a little Prayer!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TALAN!!

Today, June 22nd, My sweet Talanator is ONE! Time has flown by but has definately been a GREAT YEAR! Looking forward to many more. We couldn't be more blessed. He completes US!
