The way You make Me Feel-

Well- The way Oscars surgery has made him feel.....He has lost 30 pounds in 3 weeks. Yes- it's been 3 weeks tomorrow since his BIG SURGERY!! WOW! He is looking great and feeling better too. His back is still giving him problems from time to time but it will get even better after he is able to actually get back into normal activity. As far as his blood pressure, blood sugar, and all the other stuff, its all looking amazing. The bilateral adrenalectomy was a great move.

And of course my Lil Talanator hasn't skipped a beat- Daddy gets to stay home with him and have nap time.. I miss those days. But Talan is getting big, Now- 15 months old!!! He eats all day and seems not to gain much weight..aye- good genes??? And he loves bath time along with dancing and making funny faces. He is so cute. He speaks this language that I have never heard before and I think maybe he is trying to speak Spanish- hence so does Mommy (just not very well) and Daddy and his family speak it very good so maybe he is trying! Again he is so cute, He is by far the best thing I have ever done with my life and best decision Oscar and I have ever made.

And I can't forget about Mommy- I am back on my feet going to work and coming home and taking care of My Boys...sometimes it gets tough but hey I wouldn't take it away for nothing....One day I will tell Talan about this time in our life and maybe, just maybe he will think I was the best momma and SUPERWOMAN in the world.. =} He will think that regardless. Hehe. So since I am a SUPERWOMAN and I do everything I can..I am headed to NEW YORK October 2nd with some girls...Three of them being MY FAMILY...my 2 sisters and My sister in law. We are going for my Older sisters Birthday! I can't wait and I am so excited!!!Well...Mommy smells a stinky smell so I am pretty sure it is time for Diaper Duty......Gotta Go!

Still here...

Oscar is still here at MD Anderson, Room 502 on the 5th floor. He is doing great except a few little things that the DOCS are working on before they release him. The pain is controlled and he has been getting up and moving. His potassium level is a little low due to excessive usage of the bathroom and sweating at night. They are trying to fix that before they send him home. Well, So I sit here beside my hubby love just praying he gets to go home soon and be with his little family! Much Love and thanks to all our friends and family that have been thinking of us.

Labor Day

My Labor Day was spent at MDA with Oscar. He is doing really good. Been Up walking around and sitting in chair. He finally got to eat real food today. He is a sucker for hospital food. He got Pot Roast for lunch and grilled chicken breast, rice, green beans for dinner and to top that off, he even got some ice cream. :-) So far, so good. Keep up the good work baby!! I will be staying with him tonight, he is so sweet and said he feels much better and more comfortable with me here...I guess I make a pretty great nurse!! So hope you all have a goodnight and be careful out tomorrow, we are suppose to get some RAIN!
