Last Session...Bell Rang!

It's been a long 3 weeks. The hubby love has spent everyday at MD Anderson getting radiation treatments twice a day for those 3 weeks. Today he completed the last session! So proud of him for continuing it bc it has been a challenge. His throat is throbbing and in so much pain, he hasn't been able to eat or drink very easliy but he hasn't given up. Hopefully this has helped and he will be able to put this radiation behind us.

Although Monday he starts his second round of chemo leaving two more to go after this round. His hair has started to fall out and he has lost a little bit of weight but still keeping in good spirits. Thank you all for the continued thoughts and prayers. We appreciate every bit we can get!

Also, its June?! Really? I can't believe it. This means my little love will be 3! Wow....they grow up so fast, its unbelieveable. I probably will be having just a very small party since Oscar has been going through so much and it will be perfect!

I NEEEEEEEED HELP!

I have been trying to change my layout and background and I cant seem to get it to work. Can someome please please please help me. I would appreciate it a tons.

Update

I have been super busy lately, so I haven't had time to actually sit and blog. So here is an update on whats been going on.....
- Oscar started Chemo on May 14th and had a 3 day course treatment along with continuing radiation 2x a day.
- He has completed his first round of chemo and starts the second round June 4th.
- He continues radiation until May 31st and hopefully will be done with that.
- He has experienced some vomiting, tiredness, acid reflux and some irritation with his throat.
- WE are getting through this together.:) 

He does have 3 more Chemo treatments all spaced within 3 weeks of each of them so he gets a little break. He is staying in good spirits and we are extremely blessed with great family and friends.

Another reason I have been so busy is I have been potty training Talan. He will be 3 in June and I just decided about 6 weeks ago that I wasn't buying diapers anymore and I must say I am so PROUD of this little guy. He has amazed me and has done so well. Advice to mommys- don't push it and its okay to wait a little while. I believe because he is a little bit older that It has helped with his attention span and focusing. I am proud to say he is officially potty trained with the exception of a pull up at night that stays dry!!

Thats just a little recap of things going on in my world. Hope everyone else is doing well too!
