With all the fires going on here in Texas I become more and more thankful that they have not come our way. A while back my hubby and I cleaned out our drawers and closets, which was very much needed. But that has been some time ago, and The huge black, hefty bag has been sitting in the extra room alone. I knew there was a reason why I haven't loaded it up and dropped it off at Goodwill yet. Driving home from work I saw the sign that said Fire Donations Drop off here....I immediately came home, went and grabbed that bag of clothes...This was the reason. It was hanging on for the ones truly in need. I loaded it up and dropped it off. Handing it over never felt better. It truly was a relief and I knew I was helping those victims of all the fire damage and in need during this horrible time. It was filled with socks, shirts, shorts, scrubs, belts, and so much more. I am glad I can help somehow. My heart just aches for those who have lost everything and even those who have lost a little. My good deed has been done.
